Fit After 40

For best results in cardio fitness from 40 to 60, start easy. Don't think that fitness can be accomplished all at once. Small bursts of fitness cardio exercise can pave the way to greater stamina and losing weight. At 40 and beyond, I would suggest the 10 minute stair-climbing routine. No gym membership or expensive equipment is required. Simply walk up and down a standard flight of stairs inside your home (or outside) for 10 minutes, three times a day if you can. Be sure not to overdo it if you are not currently fit, or 50 or 60, not 40.
